What are the Benefits of Having a Travel App for Businesses?
Tumblr media
In today's world, the way we travel is changing quickly. Many people use mobile apps to plan their trips, book tickets, and find places to stay. For travel businesses, having an app is now essential, not just a nice feature. In this blog, we will look at the main benefits of having a travel app and how it can help your business stand out in a competitive market.
Market Overview: Why Travel Apps Are Essential for Businesses
Travel apps are now essential for the tourism industry. Many travelers like to use these apps to book flights, hotels, and vacation packages. These apps offer helpful features like real-time updates, tailored suggestions, and easy booking options. Because of this, travel apps are changing the way businesses connect with their customers. By creating a travel app, businesses can have a big advantage in the market.
Key Benefits of Having a Travel App for Businesses
Enhanced Customer Experience
A travel app makes planning trips super easy for your customers. They can look for flights, book hotels, and create travel plans right from their phones. With features like personalized suggestions, live updates, and safe payment options, using the app is smooth and enjoyable. When you create a travel app, you help your customers have a great experience from beginning to end.
Increased Brand Visibility and Customer Engagement
Having a travel app makes it easy for your customers to reach you anytime, day or night. With features like push notifications, you can send them special offers, discounts, or updates about their travel plans right to their phones. This keeps customers engaged and helps your brand stand out in a busy market.
Revenue Generation Opportunities
Travel apps can help your business make money in several ways. You can earn from booking fees and commissions, as well as by offering extras like travel insurance, premium plans, or car rentals. You can also partner with advertisers to bring in more income. By creating a travel app, you're setting up a way to earn a steady stream of revenue.
Improved Customer Retention and Loyalty
A good travel app can really help keep customers coming back. When it offers features like loyalty programs, discounts, and personalized services, users feel appreciated. Plus, if the app saves information about their preferences and past trips, it makes planning future travels easier. This way, the app becomes a must-have for those who travel often.
Streamlined Operations for Businesses
Travel apps make it easier to handle bookings, cancellations, and customer questions. They have automated systems that take care of payments, send notifications, and provide confirmations, which saves you time and helps prevent mistakes. By adding features from other services like Google Maps or Booking.com, your app can work even better and make everything run smoothly.
Global Reach and Scalability
One of the main benefits of a travel app is that it can be used by people all over the world. Features like support for multiple languages and currencies make it easy for users from different countries to navigate the app without any issues. As your business expands, you can easily update the app to include new services or travel destinations.
Real-Time Data and Analytics
Travel apps offer important information about what customers like and how they behave. By using data analysis, you can see which destinations are popular, monitor booking patterns, and learn about user choices. This information helps you tailor your services and improve your marketing efforts.
Competitive Edge in the Market
Having a travel app can help your business stand out from competitors who only use traditional methods. Including unique features like AI recommendations, virtual tours using AR/VR, or chatbot support can make the experience even better for users. By creating a travel app, you can position your business as a leader in the travel industry.
Case Studies or Examples
Let's look at some examples of successful travel apps:
Booking.com: A leading platform that provides seamless hotel and flight bookings with personalized recommendations.
TripAdvisor: Known for its reviews and travel planning tools, it's a favorite among travelers worldwide.
Airbnb: Offers unique accommodation options and has revolutionized the travel industry. These apps demonstrate how businesses can benefit from having a travel app by boosting revenue, improving customer experience, and building brand loyalty.
Challenges and How to Overcome Them
Creating a travel app can be tough. You might face issues like high development costs, connecting with third-party services, and making sure the app stays updated. However, you can overcome these challenges by teaming up with a skilled travel app development company. They can assist you in designing and building an app that has all the features you need for your business.
Conclusion
A travel app can revolutionize your business by enhancing customer experience, improving operations, and increasing revenue. It also helps you stand out in a competitive market and cater to a global audience. If you're ready to build a travel app, now is the perfect time to get started. Essential Elements of an Unlimited/Infinite Flow Story
As someone attempting to write my own Unli Flow, I thought I’d take note of the different elements so I can have a guide I can always refer back to.
I’ve explained what Unli Flow means many times before, but in case you missed it: Unlimited/Infinite Flow is a genre in Chinese web novels that feature characters entering multiple “instances” where they have to complete a challenge and/or solve a mystery. Failure in doing so would lead to consequences, most often death.
There’s also this definition by AshuraYami from the NovelUpdates Forum:
Unlimited Flow/Infinite Flow is a genre originating from the CN novel Terror Infinity. The genre mainly revolves on world hopping involving fictional works (anime, comics, movies, games and novels) and/or original worlds created by the author. Infinite Flow, as it’s ‘infinite’ namesake suggests, can accommodate all other genres, be it fantasy, sci-fi, horror, romance, etc. Representative works are Terror Infinity (origin of genre), Reincarnation Paradise (most chapters and word count), The Ultimate Evolution (promoter of data flow, an infinite flow derivative that is more game-like litRPG) and Thriller Paradise (most famous horror infinite flow).
With the definition out of the way, let’s goooo
[This post will also serve as a rec list of sorts, since I’ll be giving examples of each element from different danmei novels.]
----------
1. The Authority
The entity/system in charge of the Unlimited Flow system as a whole. Most stories just chalk it up to the Unli Flow being some kind of otherworldly being/extremely advanced AI that just likes to mess with people.
Examples of The Authority
(based on what I remember, at least… Also, beware of spoilers)
The Earth is Online: The Universe
Mist: I forgot what it’s called, but that high tech system in charge of all the Time Traveling stuff...
High Energy QR Code: That black and white cube thing
Surprise! The Supposed Talent Show was Actually—?!: … The TV station...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From left to right: Tang Mo from The Earth is Online and Wu Jin and Wei Shi from Surprise! The Supposed Talent Show was Actually—?!
[Spoilers End]
From having read numerous Unli Flow stories, I conclude that crucial to a great, not just good, Unli Flow story is a well-defined Authority. The explanation behind the Authority’s existence and motives is the foundation to the entire story.
You can have a very fancy building (cool instances, well-developed characters, an exciting enemies to lovers couple, etc.), but if the foundation is flimsy, the building’s value would plummet in your eyes. You can still appreciate the building, of course, but you will never be content with it.
Examples of some novels that are good in almost everything else except The Authority (in my opinion): [spoilery]
Supernatural Movie Actor App: It was too profound with not enough groundwork laid for it, resulting in The Authority feeling detached from the main story.
I Upended Yet Another Campus Urban Legend: The Authority was not exactly bad; it was just inadequate. The justification of the Unli Flow existing became unconvincing because of this.
Escape the Infinite Chamber: THE AUTHORITY IS SO FUCKING RIDICULOUS THAT IT’S ABYSMAL. And the entire thing was explained in just one scene and from one extra??? SO MUCH PAIN AND SUFFERING AND THAT’S THE ONLY EXPLANATION WE GET??? HORRENDOUS!
[Spoilers End]

2. Instances
Also known as “copy.” The other world/dimension where players have to face the different challenges.
The Authority may be the foundation, but the Instances are the defining aspect of the Unlimited Flow.
A lot of novels, however, are quite perfunctory when it comes to instances, just using it to further the main couple or as a mere stepping stone to the overarching plot. Or, if they’re not being perfunctory, then the Instances are just plain boring.
The first instance, especially, tend to be the most boring. Authors often use this to dump all the information about how their unli flow works. This usually gets better by the time the 2nd or 3rd instance comes around....
Upon successful completion of an Instance, players will then be rewarded with either points, special abilities, magic items, etc.
Examples of novels with GREAT instances (based on logic, thrill, horror, etc. Again, all in my own opinion):
I Became a God in a Horror Game: The horror is present all throughout. I can still remember the fear I felt while reading about the statues in the first Instance. Each instance/arc also emotionally impacts you, an effect that most Unli Flow writers don’t really aim for or just generally tend to fail at. (This is also my favorite unli flow novel at the moment~)
The Earth is Online: (same author as Fourth Perspective, which I’ve posted a lot about before) What I love about Mo Chen Huan, the author, is how they write intelligent MC’s but without making them seem too OP. And this is because she actually shows us the MC’s thought process, inviting us to think along with them and figure out how to solve the challenge, and not just make her characters say “aha!” This is what makes the Instances in TEIO great and memorable.
High Energy QR Code: The story could make use of more showing than telling, but I actually love the Instances in this novel. You know how good stories are often described as a well-made tapestry in that every little thread contributes to the big beautiful picture? That’s how each Instance reads in this novel. (Absolutely love the Instance about the town where everybody lies.)
Tumblr media
Fu Wendou, the male lead of The Earth is Online
Tumblr media
3. NPCs
A gaming term which stands for “Non-Player Character.” Refers to characters who live within Instances and act in such ways that further the plot or challenge presented by the Instance. They may go against players or assist them. May or may not have a will of their own.
Examples of NPCs:
Xu Beijin, the protagonist of Being an Extra Actor in an Escape Game
Lu Chu, the protagonist of Insider.
The iconic Mosaic from The Earth is Online
The male leads from Escape the Infinite Chamber, I Became a God in a Horror Game, Killing God with Junk Cards, etc. (Most danmei ML are special!NPCs 😩)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From left to right: Book covers of Being an Extra Actor in an Escape Game and Killing God with Junk Cards
Tumblr media
4. Player Hall
A space outside of instances where different players can gather and exchange information. Most of the time, this is in a space still separate from the real world. Players are often prohibited from using their powers in this space.
In some novels, Players have no choice but to live here, completely cutting them off from the real world. In this case, accommodation quality will depend on the Player’s level or points.
Tumblr media
5. Personal System
The Personal System issues challenges to the player and keeps track of their current attributes, physical and mental states, etc.. It also calculates rewards and punishments for the player. First and foremost in service to The Authority. (If they aren’t, then they’re most likely the Love Interest in disguise. If not, the Player had somehow swayed it to their side).
Tumblr media
6. System Store
The points earned from the different Instances serve as the Players’ currency, and they can use it to buy things from the System Store. The Store may sell weapons, medicine, magical items, or even special abilities. Basically, any item that can help the Player during Instances. Of course, it may also sell non-magical items, like food and everyday items, at a much lower price than special items.
Tumblr media
7. Player’s Goal/Wish
In some novels, the Goal is simply to clear all the Instances and leave the Unli Flow for good. But in others, the Unli Flow allows Players to exchange their points for a Wish. The more difficult the Wish, the more points are needed, and the more Instances are needed to be cleared.
Examples of a Goal/Wish:
Supernatural Movie Actor App: Xie Chi wants to give his second personality a body of his own.
I Became a God in a Horror Game: If I’m remembering it correctly… Bai Liu just wants to have lots of money.
I Upended Yet Another Campus Urban Legend: Lin Yi wants to learn the truth about his parents.
Thriller Tour Group: Wei Xun wants to find the truth about his family’s disappearance… and his Wish is to uhh… feel pain?
After the Little Crybaby Enters the Nightmare Cycle: Chi Nan’s Wish is to regain his vision, stop crying and get his memories back.
Death Spiral: To uhh… figure out what the voice in the Elevator is trying to tell them? To regain their memories? [The actual Wish is a big spoiler, so I won’t mention it here.]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Aaaand there you have it! I was hoping to list 10 elements, but I can only think up to 7 😔
Although I said this post is a rec list of sorts, the quality of the novels I mentioned actually varies. I’m just listing whatever novel would be good as an example (and also what I can remember and have more or less completed, since many of the Unli Flow novels I’m reading are currently on-hold).

─── ・ ✦ BACKGROUND
lim dahlia was born on the 8th of december in the year 2001, to lim jiyoung and beom sebin. her parents were fairly rich due to being being real estate developers. their lifelong dream had been to travel the world, and they had another addition to their team.
her toddler years were spent in s. korea, since her parents wanted her to make memories in the neighbourhood they had grown up in. dahlia's adventorous nature had resulted in a broken arm from climbing a tall tree in the park near their house.
they shortly moved to japan due to her father getting an offer to develop an estate in a suburb. dahlia had been only four when they had situated themselves in the country for this project. she had made friends with some children from her preschool.
a year or two had passed before they packed up everything and moved once again. the trio made a nest for themselves in the european country of the netherlands. dahlia discovered multiple dutch artist that guided her in learning the language, as well as famous singers from english speaking countries.
the rest of her child years were spent in the netherlands. her dutch had become better the more she spoke it, and her goals became clear to her one day when she saw a bagpipe player in the city. her interest in the musical instrument sky rocketed once her family went to scotland for her school holiday.
for dahlia's 11th birthday. her parents surprised her with news of them moving again. she had been feeling down after the news, since all her current friends were right there in europe. to calm her troubles, jiyoung and sebin took her to her grandmothers farm back in korea. dahlia was exploring the vast area, when she had run into a herd of cattle. the poor girl had been chased away by one of the bulls in the herd, a new fear developing from that incident.
the lim family settled in boulder, colorado. dahlia had made her parents promise that they weren't going to move for a fourth time. her wish had been fullfilled once they confirmed that this was the last time they planned to move.
the teen girl expanded on her interest in music by joining her schools music club. there she had learnt more instruments. in the year 2013, dahlia downloaded the app 'vine', where she started making relatable videos about her life.
she had gained popularity on the app a few months after downloading it. one of her videos had been looped about 5 million times and shared around the same amount of loops it had.
once the app had been shut down in 2017, dahlia tried to get into musical.ly, but didn't like it as much as she liked vine. in the latter year of 2017, dahlia went radio silent on her fans from vine and musical.ly, none of them knowing why.
no news of dahlia were heard, people hadn't even seen her in public after the sudden disappearance on her social media. even her instagram account had no updates, the number of posts staying the same, only the follower numbers increasing by the day.
in 2022, an anonymous video of a girl dancing to havana by camila cabello had been posted on every social media. the girl had a mask over most of her face, concealing her identity from the public.
people made theories on who the mysterious girl could be, but none of the claims were disclosed.
once girl from nowhere had revealed her identity on july 2024, people had mixed reactions. most fans were extatic that dahlia had come back to the music industry after being gone for so long. others were confused as to why she had showed her face now, and not earlier.
the girl went live on her instagram to address any questions. her reason for not showing her identity to the public at first was due to her concept of space and mystery. she explained that as much as people know about space, it is still a mysterious place we don't really know a lot about.
another reason was because she wanted people to focus on her voice and dance skills, ignoring whether she was beautiful or not.

A polished appearance is key to standing out.

• Fashion: Adopt a wardrobe that exudes elegance and sophistication.
Think high-quality, figure-flattering outfits in classic colors like black, white, beige, and jewel tones.

2. Build Your Confidence
Confidence is one of the most attractive traits in a person.
• Affirmations: Practice daily affirmations to reinforce your sense of self-worth.
• Posture: Walk with grace and carry yourself with poise.

Surround yourself with people who move in affluent circles.

6. Establish Standards and Boundaries
Men respect women who know their worth and have clear boundaries.

7. Maintain Mystery
Keep an air of intrigue about your life.
• Avoid Oversharing: Share details about your life gradually, leaving them wanting to know more.

While you may rely on a partner for financial support, it's important to maintain some level of independence to keep the dynamic balanced.
• Personal Goals: Continue pursuing your dream of becoming a fitness influencer and opening your gym.
• Backup Plans: Keep working on financial security so you're never fully dependent.

Astral Dynamics Book Review
Tumblr media
I had a shorter review of this book on Pagan & Witches Amino that is no longer there. Here I plan to expand on it. I originally read this in the book club that used to be run on the app.
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Contents:
Synopsis
What I Liked
What I Didn't Like
Overall Thoughts
Conclusion
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Tumblr media
Published 2009
"Have you ever wanted to fly, walk through walls, to travel to outer space, to explore exotic planets and realms, to visit friends and loved ones, to experience spiritual dimensions, or just to have thrilling adventures beyond your physical body? If so, then this is the book for you!
In this masterfully evolved, tenth-anniversary edition of his famous classic, author Robert Bruce provides everything you need to understand and achieve out-of-body experiences. Bruce provides innovative techniques on how to work with your higher self to activate and develop your energy centers, to exit your body, to navigate the astral and mental planes, and to return safely with clear memories of exciting out-of-body adventures.
Drawing on decades of experience, of not only astral traveling himself but effectively teaching others how to get out of body, Bruce provides everything you need in this superb volume: a personal narrative, a how-to and trouble-shooting guide, and a groundbreaking theoretical perspective. Whether you are a skeptic, a veteran astral projector, a novice, or an armchair traveler, there's treasure here--a masterpiece of understanding and achieving out-of-body experiences."
-from the back of the book
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
What I Liked
This book starts with the authors theories on how astral projection works. Having even an idea of how and why things work, I think, can really help with any issues that you may come across. I really think this books shining feature is just how many issues it helps you work through. I can't think of a situation that you might run into that isn't in this book. Another wonderful feature is that it doesn't rely on visualization. It has a real focus on feeling your way out of the body and feeling energy moving instead of seeing it. There are various ways listed for people to try to enter trance states as well, so if one or two methods don't work for you, there are others to fall back on.
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
What I Didn't Like
My main issue with this book is how New Agey it gets, which is pretty mild in comparison to some others. It does talk about chakras, which are bastardized by new agers. There's a lot of talk of being in communication with your higher self, but more so in what feels like a more psychological view point but the higher self part is what is throwing me off. One other issue is talking about waking paralysis (otherwise known as sleep paralysis), basically saying that if you experience it then your spirit just hasn't fully returned to your body yet. I don't find anything harmful in what he says exactly since he basically gives you a way to try to get out of it that is similar to what the Cleveland Clinic suggests. It's just some people can take these things too far. There's also discussion of the Akashic Records which stems from Theosophy, which bastardizes a lot of Hindu and Buddhist religious beliefs.
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Overall Thoughts
This book would be useful for those who are struggling with things like spirit flight. If none of the methods that are in other books, I think this one would be good to try. You just want to really be aware of New Age beliefs and history. This video is a great starting point for learning more about the New Age.
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Conclusion
I don't agree with everything in this book but I do think this book can be helpful for a certain demographic. We shouldn't take everything a book says as gospel and this is a good example. I hope this review helped you decide if this book was for you or not. Astral Dynamics can be found on amazon and Thrift Books.

Commuting Made Easy: Understanding Delhi Metro Timings
However, Delhi Metro Timings vary by line and station, so it's always a good idea to check the official Delhi Metro website or app for the most accurate and up-to-date information before traveling.
Tumblr media
The Delhi Metro, a crucial component of the National Capital Region's transportation infrastructure, stands as a testament to India's speedy urbanization and technological advancement. Since its inception in 2002, the metro has transformed the manner in which residents navigate the bustling streets of Delhi, assuaging site visitors' congestion and supplying a reliable means of transportation for millions. This article explores the records, development, effect, and future of the Delhi Metro.
Historical Background
As the city grew, so did the need for an efficient public transport system. In 1995, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) was established, marking the start of a large urban development project. The first line, spanning 8.7 kilometers from Shahdara to Tis Hazari, was inaugurated in December 2002. This initial segment laid the foundation for what could come to be an intensive network of metro lines.
Expansion and Growth

Back from China
Now that I'm back in Canada after 26 days in China, here's a link to some of my photos (warning: there are over 500).
I usually travel on my own, and I was with my brother and dad this time, which was fun. I acted as their translator and tour guide (since to get anywhere you have to use Baidu, which is only in Chinese). It was interesting seeing China through their eyes, and we got to do things I wouldn't normally do on my own. We also didn't drive each other crazy - there were no fights, just some stressful moments (which happen when I'm alone too - just part of travel).
We were in Beijing, Wutai Shan, and Xi'an.
Wutai was very interesting - we were the only foreigners I saw for the entire 5 days. The weather was kinda treacherous, which I understand is pretty normal for Wutai. It was very beautiful, though. And we got our fill of temples - there are over 200 there. One of the more "off the beaten path" places I've gone to.
Xi'an is lovely. It's "only" 10 million people, and I'm discovering I quite like Chinese cities of this size. Still bustling and highly developed, but not overwhelming. Suzhou and Hangzhou are a similar size, and I also really love those cities. Xi'an has excellent local food - spicy and extremely garlicky. And of course wonderful historical sites. The terra cotta warriors are really amazing, and we timed our visit well because it wasn't super crowded when we went to see them.
Beijing is the 3rd "megacity" I've visited now, the other 2 being Tokyo and Shanghai. The advantage to cities like this is the endless variety of things you can see and do. You can never really see all of it. I intentionally spent longer there on this trip - 15 days in total - for this reason. We saw (this list is non-exhaustive): the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Bell and Drum Towers, the hutongs (old traditional alley residences), Fragrant Hill, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Bird's Nest stadium, the Summer Palace, the National Botanical Garden, Ritan Park, and Black Bamboo Park. We also ate an incredible variety of Chinese food - Liu Yuning is right that you can find like every region's food there.
The drawback to megacities, in my mind, is that there are just way too many people for me! It's okay on weekdays, but on weekends and holidays (we were there for the mid-autumn festival long weekend) it's way too crowded no matter where you go. I love a bustling and lively city, but at that scale, it's too much for me.
The drawbacks to Beijing in particular, in my mind, are:
the security is way over the top - even more than any other place in China I've visited. Particularly within a certain radius of Tiananmen, where you get stopped for an ID check literally every block and you have to tell them where you're going. There are also a ton of places you're just not allowed to go that seem stupid to me, like their national sports stadium (near the Bird's Nest in their 2008 Olympic Park), Beijing University, and Tsinghua University (those are by appointment only and the appointments were fully booked even a week in advance).
the air pollution isn't as bad as I saw on TV during the 2008 Olympics, but it's still really bad a lot of the time (the air quality index was often around 150-170).
it's way too spread out. There aren't a lot of skyscrapers compared to Tokyo and Shanghai. It has the largest subway system in the world, but the subway stops are very far apart, so you end up walking a TON to get anywhere. Most people ride bikeshare bikes from the subway station, but we couldn't get the apps working for my brother and dad, despite trying multiple different bikeshare apps - it's a big hurdle for foreigners. If you use Didi (their version of Uber) or take the bus, the traffic is often really really slow.
So, although Beijing has a ton to see, I'm not in a rush to visit it again unless I'm going to meet up with a friend there or as a landing point to visit somewhere else.
As usual, I also did a ton of shopping when I was there, and brought back an extra suitcase (which I also bought) full of stuff with me. I also did some online shopping when I was there. Taobao wouldn't work for me because Alipay wouldn't accept foreign credit cards on it (although you can use Alipay for a ton of other stuff there, including the subway, and I used it quite a bit), so I used Jingdong. It's dangerously convenient! I discovered that Taobao does work in Canada, though, with your Canadian credit card. This could end up being a bad habit!
Haha, I was only gonna write a short post but I got carried away. I need to get ready for work. More perhaps later. Let me know if there's anything in particular you would like to hear about.

C-420: A Fan-Made Dimension
Hey there! PrestigiousFan1866 here. I'm new to these parts and want to share my idea for a fan-made alternate dimension I've been working on, called C-420.
In C-420, imagine the Smith family, but with some interesting twists. Rick's still a genius, but more open to emotional connections. Beth has found the perfect balance between her career as a space vet and family life. Jerry is a successful sci-fi writer. Summer is a tech geek with her own interdimensional communication app. And Morty? He's still that curious teenager, but more confident.
This version of the family faces ordinary problems but solves them in quite extraordinary ways. For instance, how do Summer and Morty deal with classmates who accidentally witness their interdimensional travels?
I'm planning to develop this C-420 universe by creating short stories about their adventures and daily life. What do you think? What situations would you like to see with this version of the Smith family?
P.S. I'm new to writing fanfiction, so I'd appreciate any advice and ideas!
Name: Rick Sanchez
Personality: In this dimension, he has retained his sharp mind and scientific genius, but has become less cynical and more open to emotional connections. He shows genuine care and affection for his family, although he still sometimes struggles with expressing feelings directly. Rick remains largely indifferent to the outside world, but his nihilism has softened. He possesses a caustic sense of humor and a tendency towards sarcasm, but now it's more often good-natured teasing rather than cruel mockery. Rick still loves adventures and new discoveries, but has become more responsible in his experiments. He takes pride in his grandchildren's achievements and actively encourages their interests in science and technology. He has become a more patient teacher for Morty and Summer, finding pleasure in passing on his knowledge. Despite softening his character, Rick maintains his independence and inclination for adventures. He often finds himself in ethically questionable situations, guided by his own value system, which doesn't always align with generally accepted norms. This creates an interesting dynamic in the family, where his actions can evoke both admiration and condemnation.
Appearance: A tall, thin 60-year-old man with disheveled gray hair and slight stubble. Rick is clad in his invariable white lab coat, slightly wrinkled and adorned with mysterious stains from countless experiments. A blue short-sleeved shirt is visible under the coat, its collar slightly worn from frequent use. Dark brown trousers made of durable fabric complete his look, held in place by a black leather belt with a unique buckle in the shape of a spiral nebula. His feet are shod in tall black boots, the soles of which emit a soft blue glow - a sign of built-in anti-gravity technology. On the chest of the coat is an embroidered atom emblem, and protective goggles can often be seen on his forehead or neck. On his wrist is a multifunctional watch that also serves as a communicator and analyzer.
Skills:
Interdimensional navigation: ability to navigate and travel between different dimensions with high accuracy
Xenolinguistics: ability to quickly understand and communicate in alien languages
Adaptive inventing: ability to create necessary devices from available materials in the shortest possible time
Intergalactic diplomacy: skill in negotiating with various alien races
Interesting facts:
He invented an improved version of the portal gun that consumes less energy and is more stable.
Experiments with interdimensional cuisine.
Collects rare whiskey varieties from around the world.
Name: Beth Smith
Personality: A strong, independent woman with a deep sense of compassion. She has found the perfect balance between her career as a space veterinarian and family life, giving her self-confidence and inner peace. Beth possesses a sharp mind and scientific curiosity inherited from her father, but also has emotional depth and empathy. She is a very caring mother who supports the individuality and aspirations of each family member. Beth has natural leadership qualities and often acts as the family's emotional anchor. She knows how to find compromises and resolve conflicts, whether family disagreements or intergalactic disputes. Her profession has developed in her a great respect for all forms of life. Beth often acts as the voice of reason and ethics in family adventures. Despite success in her career, Beth continues to learn and develop, always striving for new knowledge and experiences.
Appearance: A slim woman of medium height, about 35 years old, with long blonde hair usually gathered in a neat ponytail or bun. She has expressive green eyes and soft facial features. At work, Beth dons a snow-white jumpsuit made of light but incredibly durable material. The back is adorned with an impressive emblem of the intergalactic veterinary service, and numerous pockets are always ready to accommodate necessary tools. Her feet are protected by comfortable white boots with non-slip soles. In her free time, Beth prefers light blue jeans and T-shirts or blouses in soft pastel shades - mint or lavender. In cool weather, she throws on a light beige windbreaker. Her look is completed by elegant star-shaped earrings and a special pendant with a hologram of a family photo.
Skills:
Xenobiological diagnostics: ability to quickly identify diseases in alien life forms
Interspecies empathy: ability to establish emotional connections with various life forms
Ecosystem gardening: skill in creating and maintaining complex ecosystems with plants from different dimensions
Terrestrial veterinary medicine: classic skills in treating Earth animals
Interdimensional ecology: knowledge about the interaction of ecosystems from different dimensions
Crisis management: ability to act effectively in emergency situations
Culinary arts: ability to cook dishes from Earth and alien ingredients
Interesting facts:
Wrote several scientific papers on xenobiology.
Engages in intergalactic floristry, growing rare alien plants in a special greenhouse.
Beth and Jerry are jointly working on a science fiction novel, combining her knowledge of space veterinary medicine and his writing skills.
Keeps a diary on paper, considering it more reliable than digital technologies.
Name: Jerry Smith
Personality: An optimistic and good-natured person with a rich imagination. His success as a science fiction writer has significantly boosted his confidence, but he has retained his characteristic naivety and simplicity that make him so charming. He deeply loves his family and always strives to be a good husband and father. Jerry has an amazing ability to find positives even in the most difficult situations. His optimism and enthusiasm are often contagious, helping to lift the mood of the whole family. Despite his success, Jerry remains modest and often doubts his abilities, especially next to the genius Rick. However, this uncertainty now motivates him to self-improvement rather than causing envy or resentment. He has become more open to adventures and new experiences, although he still prefers the comfort and safety of home. His kindness and ability to forgive often help smooth out conflicts in the family. However, his desire to be loved and recognized sometimes leads to comical situations and misunderstandings.
Appearance: A man of average height with chestnut hair and a slight stoop. He usually wears short-sleeved shirts - checkered or plain pastel colors, sometimes replacing them with T-shirts with prints on sci-fi themes. His legs are clad in sand-colored chino pants. On cool days, he wears a light bomber jacket. The look is complemented by comfortable loafers or sneakers in neutral shades. Reading glasses in a thin frame often adorn his nose, and a wristwatch with a leather strap is on his wrist.
Skills:
Creative writing: ability to create engaging and original stories in the science fiction genre
Public speaking: ability to talk engagingly about his books and ideas in front of an audience
Event organization: skill in planning and conducting game nights and literary meetings

Created a board game based on the family's interdimensional adventures, which unexpectedly became a hit among board game enthusiasts.
Conducts creative writing courses for aspiring science fiction authors in the local community.
Collects vintage comics and is an expert on superheroes of the 60s.
Name: Summer Smith
Personality: Summer is a confident, ambitious, and technically gifted young woman. She possesses a sharp mind and quickly grasps new concepts, especially in the field of technology. Summer has a strong sense of independence and strives for self-realization, but is deeply attached to her family. Summer possesses healthy skepticism and isn't afraid to express her opinion or challenge others' ideas, including Rick's. This makes her an important counterbalance in family dynamics. Despite her confidence, Summer sometimes struggles with typical teenage problems of self-identification and social acceptance. Her experience with interdimensional travel has given her a unique perspective on life and helped develop a strong sense of individuality. Summer exhibits leadership qualities and often takes the initiative in problem-solving. She's a caring older sister to Morty, though she doesn't miss an opportunity to tease him. Her sense of humor is sharp and sometimes sarcastic, reflecting her grandfather's influence.
Appearance: Summer prefers stylish and modern clothing. Her typical look consists of a pink tank top or fitted top, complemented by white skinny jeans or a short skirt. Created a popular podcast about future technologies and their impact on teenage culture.
Passionate about photography and runs a popular Instagram account about urban life.
Name: Morty Smith
Personality: He's a smart and curious teenager, more confident than in other dimensions. He inherited Rick's scientific curiosity and maintains optimism and enthusiasm for new discoveries. Despite his young age, Morty demonstrates growing wisdom, especially in matters of interdimensional relationships. He often acts as the family's moral compass, but his views are not always unambiguous and can change under the influence of new experiences.
Morty retains childlike curiosity and enthusiasm, especially when it comes to science and new discoveries. He possesses a strong imagination that helps him in developing video games and solving non-standard problems during adventures. He retains some naivety, which sometimes leads him to rash decisions, but he quickly learns from his mistakes. His ability to see the best in people (and aliens) helps find unexpected solutions to complex situations. Although Morty is confident, he's still going through typical teenage difficulties such as first love and finding his place in the world. His optimism and ability to see the best in people (and aliens) sometimes lead him to naive decisions, but also help find unexpected ways out of difficult situations. Morty is deeply attached to his family and often acts as a unifying force, helping smooth out disagreements between other family members. His relationship with Rick is especially close - he admires his grandfather but isn't afraid to challenge his decisions when he deems it necessary.
Appearance: A short teenager with curly brown hair. Mostly, Morty wears a yellow T-shirt. His legs are clad in blue jeans or shorts in warm weather. His favorite blue hooded sweatshirt is always at hand, with a print of his favorite game on the back. White sneakers with bright laces complete his everyday look.
Skills:
Adaptive thinking: ability to quickly adapt to new situations and find non-standard solutions
Empathetic communication: ability to understand and consider others' feelings in complex situations

Survival in extreme conditions: skills in adapting to various environments
Creative problem solving: ability to find non-standard solutions
Interesting facts:

Morty developed an app for cataloging and sharing information about various dimensions and creatures called "CaSID" (Cataloging and Sharing Information about Dimensions), which became popular among interdimensional travelers.
Passionate about drawing comics and working on his own web series.
Family facts:
Rick takes both Morty and Summer on his adventures.
Sometimes Rick takes the whole family on space adventures, not just the grandchildren.
Every weekend they have board game sessions and movie nights with the whole family.
Family picnics in scenic locations on different planets.
The full Smith family in the Citadel is a rare sight, which often attracts the attention of other Ricks and Mortys.
The family regularly visits the Citadel of Ricks both for recreation and on important matters.
The presence of a successful and confident Jerry often shocks other Ricks and Mortys, who are used to more pitiful versions of Jerry.
Interaction with the local community:
The Smith family is known in their neighborhood as eccentric but friendly. Neighbors often wonder at strange sounds and flashes of light from Rick's garage, but attribute this to his "scientific experiments".
Beth actively participates in the local veterinary clinic, conducting free check-ups for neighbors' pets.
Jerry organizes a monthly book club where they discuss science fiction. This helps him draw ideas for his books without raising suspicions.
Summer and Morty participate in school events and local youth programs to maintain the appearance of a "normal" teenage life.
Education:
Morty and Summer attend a regular high school, but often miss classes due to "family circumstances". They compensate for this with increased independent work and Rick's help in difficult subjects.
School teachers consider Morty and Summer very creative and resourceful students, especially in project work, not suspecting the true source of their unique ideas.
Summer is a member of the school technology club, where she can apply her advanced knowledge without raising suspicions.
Morty participates in science fairs, presenting projects inspired by his adventures but adapted for understanding by ordinary people.
Relationships outside the family:
Summer has a close friend Zoe, who often visits their home. Summer has to be very careful not to reveal family secrets.
Morty is friends with a classmate named Alex, who shares his interest in video games and comics. Their friendship helps Morty maintain a connection with "normal" teenage life.
Beth has a colleague and friend Carol, an experienced veterinarian about her age, with whom she sometimes has lunch. Beth uses these meetings as a way to "ground" herself and distract from interdimensional concerns.
Jerry maintains friendly relationships with other local writers. These connections help him develop as an author and stay up to date with earthly literary trends.
Rick, although trying to stay away from most social interactions, sometimes visits a local bar where he has a bartender friend who is unaware of his true nature.
Conflict with classmates:
Incident:
A group of classmates led by Jason, the school bully, accidentally notices Rick, Morty, and Summer using a portal gun near the school after classes.
Classmates' reaction:
Jason and his friends start spreading rumors that Summer and Morty are "crazy" and live in some kind of fantastic world.
They try to capture evidence on their phones, but due to the peculiarities of portal technology, the videos turn out blurry and unconvincing.
Pressure at school:
Summer and Morty face ridicule and isolation. Some classmates start avoiding them.
Jason and his company constantly provoke Morty and Summer, trying to make them "slip up" or do something strange.
Summer and Morty's reaction:
Summer uses her social media skills to control the situation online, deleting compromising posts and spreading alternative explanations.
Morty tries to use his increased confidence to confront the bullies, but this is not always effective.
Family solution:
Rick, learning about the problem, offers to erase the bullies' memories, but Morty and Summer refuse, wanting to solve the problem on their own.
Beth and Jerry, not knowing the true reason for the conflict, try to help with their methods, which sometimes only complicates the situation.
Culmination:
The situation reaches a peak when Jason and his friends try to break into Rick's garage to find evidence.
Morty and Summer are forced to use their skills and experience from interdimensional adventures to prevent this, without revealing their secret.
Resolution:
Using a combination of Summer's technological skills, Morty's resourcefulness, and a little help from Rick, they manage to convince Jason and others that it was all a misunderstanding or a prank.
They create a plausible explanation, possibly related to filming an amateur movie or testing special effects for Jerry's project.
Consequences:
Although the main conflict is resolved, Summer and Morty become more cautious and inventive in hiding their double life.
This experience brings them closer as brother and sister, making them rely more on each other in school life.
Rick is impressed with how his grandchildren handled the situation and begins to trust them more in solving complex tasks.
Bonus: Quick C-420 Quiz!
What's Beth's profession in C-420?
What has Jerry created in this version?
What kind of app did Summer develop?
How is C-420 Rick different from the original?
Feel free to answer in the comments! Let's see who's been paying attention to the details of C-420. 😉

I hope this is okay to even ask, and I hope I am able to do it politely, but I had absolutely no idea you were blind/disabled and would like to know more about it--if you are comfortable with sharing!
Is it partial blindness? Something you were born with, or developed? I have only ever known one person IRL who is fully (or almost fully) blind, but I was never close enough friends with him to ask about his disability. I'm just so curious how you are able to manage being an active blogger and writer with that kind of disability!
If this is not something you care to talk about at all, please just delete this ask! <3
Not a problem at all! As I said, I love questions and asking questions, and don’t mind talking about my story.
I was born totally blind diagnosed with a condition known as Optic Nerve Hypoplasia (ONH) which caused my optic nerves to be extremely underdeveloped in both eyes. So, technically, my eyes in and of themselves can see, but I cannot register what they’re seeing since the bridge connecting my eyes to my brain isn’t functional, if that makes sense. However, when I was around 2 or so, they performed an operation to help stabilize my nystagmus (uncontrollable movement of the eye) and were able to recover a section of the optic nerve in my right eye. So, today I have partial sight in the left half of my right eye (next to the nose) and none in my left. I am currently using a cane for travel as my guide dog passed away last year. I will be applying for a successor soon tho! And I can read both large print and Braille. I MUCH prefer audio media though because my eyes get tired very quickly. Also, I can only see what’s directly in front of me and can only turn my head to the left for things like scanning a room or looking at something because I have no vision field anywhere on my right. And no depth perception. Yeah… stairs and changing floor textures are not my friends.
Yeah, so, I actually write my posts/fics on Google drive and then have voiceover (if you’re an Apple user) read it back to me. Unfortunately, the Tumbler app is not compatible with voiceover which makes me sad lol.
Thank you for asking! 🩷
